The meetinghouse in Temple Square is home to services, meetings, and concerts.
In front of of the meetinghouse is "The Seagull Monument".
The inside is quite beautiful...

This was our first real view of the temple.
The 35 acres of Temple Square are completely covered. Anything that isn't a building, monument, fountain, or sidewalk is flower garden.
The visitor's center is filled with oil paintings depicting scenes from the Old Terstament, New Testament, and Book of Mormon.

We went to the observation deck of the LDS Office Building, which gave us spectacular views of the Utah Capitol...
